L J Sewing enforces strict confidentiality and operates under the highest code of business ethics. We do not sell or exchange any of our customer's private information with any outside organizations.


It is L J Sewing's sincerest intentions to accurately describe an item at all times. However, if an item is found to not be in the condition or size as set forth in its description, the item may be returned for a full refund or credit, EXCLUDING ALL SHIPPING, INSURANCE & PAYPAL (3%) CHARGES, only if you contact our customer service office via email within 48 hours of receipt of the item and the item is returned to L J Sewing within five (5) business days, except government holidays.

Refunds will NOT be granted on intimate apparel.


The definition of condition is understood under L J Sewing Corporate Policy, Terms and Conditions of Online Sales as described, either "excellent", in "like-new" condition, or as specified in the item's description. We list the size as indicated on the actual item. Size standards may vary by manufacturer. Returns based on discrepancy of "condition" or "size" must be mutually agreed upon by both L J Sewing and the purchaser prior to the issuing of a refund, once all other terms are met.

Any item(s) returned that is not considered first quality or new will be returned to the customer at customers' expense. The 'not considered first quality' item(s) will be kept with us until shipping expense is covered by customer.

Item(s) that are clearance, discounted or closed out are not returnable.

Special orders are not cancellable while in process or returnable.

Note: There will be up to 20% service/restocking fee for ALL returns.


In an effort to safeguard credit cardholders all items purchased with a major credit card will be shipped only to the address verified as the cardholder's current billing address, unless pre-authorized by the cardholder's issuing bank in advance of billing and shipping. No exceptions to this will be granted.

Orders placed before 12:00pm Eastern Time are processed for shipment the next business day. Most items ship within 24 hours of processing. Shipping & delivery days are Monday - Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.

Some products on our site may not ship for 1-5 business days. This means if you order this item it may not leave our warehouse for up to 5 business day after your order has been processed. If you select overnight shipping on one of these items please expect a 1-5 business day wait before your order will be shipped. The same is true for 2 day and 3 day shipping. For estimated delivery dates please contact customer service.

We do all we can to get our orders shipped out as soon as possible, and most orders ship within 24 hours of being sent to the warehouse. However, shipping charges are for the carrier service selected. We do not guarantee delivery dates, and we do not refund shipping charges if items do not ship on a specific day. We will do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible. If there is a problem with the delivery of your order, we will do everything we can to help resolve the problem.

Tracking numbers are available for orders shipped via UPS and CanadaPost. Tracking numbers are sent via email, generally after 12pm Eastern Time of the business day after your order ships.

All items must be received by L J Sewing in the exact condition it was shipped in order for the purchaser to be ensured a full refund. When returning an item for refund under the afore mentioned conditions, the purchaser should use the same or comparable shipping container.

All items once shipped to the purchaser are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and therefore it is advisable that the purchaser requests in advance of the shipping, full insurance for the total value of the item from their selected shipping company at the time of purchase. Any damages incurred during the shipping process will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser and it will be up to the purchaser to address the issue of any damages to the item that occurred during shipping with their selected shipper. The purchaser will hold L J Sewing blameless in the event that an item is damaged during shipping.

L J Sewing will use quality packing materials when shipping all items to the purchaser. L J Sewing and its representatives employ the utmost care and consideration when packaging items for shipment to ensure its safe arrival to the purchaser. L J Sewing uses only recognized, responsible and reliable shippers including UPS and CanadaPost.

Shipping charges are based on UPS's and CanadaPost's standard shipping rate table. The rates are based on shipping weight, method and as well as package size.
